Christmas Card Again

How's it going bro?
It's been a long time I know, looks like you're doing alright.
It's so good to see your entire family
Smiling back at me
This is how I know
Let Christmas time begin
You show up at my door
In a Christmas card again
You watch us deck the halls
With boughs of holly
While we eat our figgy pudding
Lined up all in a row
To all we'll show greetings from the mantle
This is how I know
Let Christmas time begin
You show up at my door
In a Christmas card again
It was great to see you man
Drop you a line if I can or
Maybe call you on the telephone
Even if that don't work out
I know beyond the shadow of a doubt
I'll see you here this time next year in a Christmas card again
I'll see you here this time next year in a Christmas card again
I'll see you here this time next year in a Christmas card again

Xmas Everywhere
03:22
|
|||
out on the ocean with the rise and fall
may good tidings and cheer come to one and all
one and all
here in the desert so arid and dry
bring heavenly peace on this silent night
silent night
20,000 feet straight up in the sky
2,000 miles we have yet to fly
but in my heart i’m already there
cause it’s Christmas, Christmas, Christmas everywhere.
away in a manger He sleeps in the night
He’s come to bring death to life
all of creation in one single place
He speaks and it bursts into outer space
oouuutterrr spaaaacce
20,000 feet straight up in the sky
2,000 miles we have yet to fly
but in my heart i’m already there
cause it’s Christmas, Christmas, Christmas everywhere.

City sidewalks
Busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air there's the feeling of Christmas
Children laughing
People passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on every street corner you'll hear
Silver Bells, Silver Bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas Day
Strings of street lights
Even stoplights
Blink a bright red and green
While the shoppers get lost in their treasures
Hear the snow crunch
See the kids bunch
But what does it all mean?
It's all for the One True I Am
Silver Bells, Silver Bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them ring
Soon it will be Christmas Day
Silver Bells, Silver Bells
It's Christmas time in the city
Ring-a-ling, hear them sing
Soon it will be Christmas Day

Christmas Cardigan

Who’s that girl from across the room
on this Christmas party night?
Her sequenced stars, well they shine so bright
over her knitted winter wonderland.
Never before have I felt so wooed
by a snowman sewn so fine.
I love her Christmas taste from neck to waist,
I hope she’ll notice mine.
Who’s that boy lookin over my way
on this Christmas party evening?
The north star beams on his manger scene
held together with buttons and thread.
This is the first time I’ve felt so drawn
by a knitted Messiah baby.
I love the way he moves in his Christmas shoes
as he walks right up to me.
And this is what he said:
Christmas time’s a comin
Drummer boy’s a drummin
I want to get my love something
to show my love.
The holidays are near,
streets are filled with cheer
I want to get my love something
to show my love.
We look at the stars so bright,
the heavenly Christmas lights
that lead the way back in that day.
And somehow they lead us here,
to spread all our Christmas cheer
we give, and get to send
with our Christmas cardigans.
I can’t think of a holiday
without you by my side
I’m gonna make you my Christmas bride
before we’re singing Auld Lang Syne
Now I look back on that party scene
and I laugh with such delight.
Merrily you fall in love with me
as we sing “O Holy Night”
O Holy Night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Saviour’s birth
Christmas time’s a comin
Drummer boy’s a drummin
I want to get my love something
to show my love.
The holidays are near,
streets are filled with cheer
I want to get my love something
to show my love.
We look at the stars so bright,
the heavenly Christmas lights
that lead the way back in that day.
And somehow they lead us here,
to spread all our Christmas cheer
we give, and get to send
with our Christmas cardigans.
